Paul’s Condo
Paul bought his condo in 2009 with the intention of renovating and selling. However, once he got in and started renovating he realized it’s not quite his cup of tea.
In fact, he despises renovating and now wants the job done!
Paul is a friend of ours and has decided to “hire us” to finish the job. His goal is to have his place on the market by Labour Day weekend (which gives us a month to get the job done!) as his Real Estate Agent has advised him that this is an opportune time to list.
He has already painted the whole place, bought new appliances, upgraded the kitchen and installed carpet throughout the living room and 2 bedrooms. He has spent approximately $9000 and has allotted another $3000 to finish the job.
What needs to be done…
Our Plan
First things first, we need a contractor! We could certainly try to do some of these things ourselves, but since Paul’s deadline is fast approaching we thought we better call in the professionals and act more as project managers on this one. Lucky for us we know just the guy! Randy Cotton will be working with us on Paul’s condo (stay tuned for his Contractor Profile on our home page). Randy installed Paul’s new kitchen so he is familiar with this space and is eager to help us get it done!
I’ll be honest here, $3000 isn’t a lot to finish all of this work, but we are up for the challenge! Wish us luck :-)
