Wow! What a weekend it was! First of all, here in Canada it was the Civic Holiday. Now, working in the fitness industry means that everyone else in the world is off for the day so, they would still like to work out. This means that as a trainer, your clients are more than willing to maintain their schedules. I worked for part of the day then we got to work on our latest project. Thankfully this was not the kind of holiday where all stores are closed so we got lots of shopping done. A new vanity (see pics) and toilet, including taps and a couple of hours later, we were pumped. After a quick order and pickup at the tile store first thing Tuesday morning, we were in business. Most of the tub surround and half the kitchen are already completed. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Oh and with the best of luck, fingers and toes crossed, our laundry room marble was still available! It is going to be so beautiful! I’m already trying to think of where I could use the last few square feet available at the store… that’s how much I love it. See Rebecca’s blog for pics.
It is quite amazing how much small details and a few hundred dollars can make. They always say the quickest way to change a room is with paint. I certainly agree but have to say that new tile with a fabulous mosaic detail has made the world of difference in the condo’s bath. I must add that NO ONE should ever use a colour other than white for fixtures such as sinks, toilets, fridges and stoves…. Almond – so close to white yet so dirty looking.
State my opinion why don’t I?
